That was cool! Woody and Billy were both quick with their wits. Woody is not the most moral person but I respected him for the way he treated Billy.

The thing I found most interesting was the charisma of Billy Graham. He seemed absolute in his belief, unable to be shaken at all through his life. Watching this video makes Woody (as much as I love him and his films) seem like a man without a clue. That's a cruel thing to say but as I have become more familiar with the Bible I can recognize Woody's false assumptions (that I had held also) which he stated on that show.

It's been heavily edited if you notice. I wish there were an uncut version around somewhere so that we may here more of Billy's thoughts.

Yeah me too. I wonder if Woody ever ended up going to one of Billy's revivals. I don't remember which clip it was but I totally agree with Billy Grahams assessment that if Woody Allen ever got saved he would make a great preacher. I believe it.

Hehe, I think it was a "hollywood promise" and not a real one. Billy looked very pleased when Woody proposed that idea.

I almost feel ashamed of the audience and Woody though for the comment about the blue coat. If you watch closely you can detect sarcasm from Woody in saying "Yeah, that'd be really crazy... a blue coat!" and the the audience cracks up at the expense of Billy and the camera shows his face and he seems unaware of the joke on him.

Billy made the comment first "I would liked to have changed in to something loud, like a blue coat” making a joke himself; that is what Woody feed off of. I thought it was a great comic exchange between the both of them.
