So the Bible is the word of God. Okay. But I recall that there were many "Gospels" and letters from Paul to the Churches; which ones did we know were to be considered "inspired"?

Sure thing. I meant to ask this, "How do we know that the books in our Bible are the ones that God wanted in there?"
