Folks,
I don't know if I've stated this before but I would encourage you to become supporters of the Veritas Forum. The beliefs of Veritas line up pretty much with this website to a "T". More about this organization is here..
//www.veritas.org/
The Veritas Forum was founded by Kelly Monroe Kullberg. She was the first to organize it at Harvard in 1992.
She also edited and co-authored the best-selling Finding God at Harvard: Spiritual Journeys of Christian Thinkers (1996) and taught senior electives at Harvard College in film and C.S. Lewis while serving as a chaplain to the Harvard Graduate School Christian Fellowship from 1988-1997. Kelly holds a B.A. in Organizational Behavior from Ohio University; an M.A. from the Ohio State University in Communication Theory. She was a visiting student at the Harvard Divinity School and at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Kelly lives with her husband David and children in Columbus, Ohio.
The Veritas Forums are conducted at colleges and universities throughout the U.S..
Here are just some of our topics.

I listened to a little bit of a seminar on pornography yesterday. Very cool. Sometimes the sound is better than other times though.

Thanks guys... I'm also currently working with the team to start posting some of these discussions on Youtube... These are some of the local advocates for ID here. I'll let you know the outcome.

Ironically, I attended a Veritas Forum panel discussion just this week. Two gentlemen from the organization presented their case for Intelligent Design, while a panel of critics questioned their science and conclusions.
I couldn't stay the whole time (it was pretty long), but I enjoyed what I saw.
Never thought we could have so much in common huh Gman?

Let us not confuse what science reveals, with what we interpret science to reveal, and what we want science to reveal.

Really Sargon? What did you think of the discussion and what topics did they cover?Sargon wrote:Ironically, I attended a Veritas Forum panel discussion just this week.
