I tend to say what I'm thinking, and I suppose that was explained as clearly as I could. I just filled in the gaps with the reality that whatever we think we know is exactly that: what we think. I feel as long as we grasp the overall meaning of what's going on (i.e. we are able to have an eternal relationship with God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ) then the rest is just speculation.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the speculation. Once again, I just type whatever I'm thinking, and maybe I should proofread or stick to the subject a little better. I'll try harder to add my input without going on unnecessary tangents.

Are you referring to a particular post or thread, aYs?

What you are saying reminds me of that verse...
1 Corinthians 13:12 Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

Although many things about God are just too big for us to comprehend, we do have His Word, that is the Bible, to inform us of a great deal. Of course the different books are written in a range of literary genre, and so we need to know about what it is we are reading, but we are indeed able to know from Scripture much of what God is like and what He has done for us. It isn't all speculation. The Bible is a repository of objective revealed truth and we can know a great deal from studying it.

I think sometimes it's better to write your thoughts without thinking.

Whoops...that sounded like a George W. quote.

Seriously, sometimes we over analyize what we are trying to say to the point that we lose what we meant to say...and besides, if we say something wrong there are plenty of people here to help us back on the straight and narrow....

I'm just gonna stop now. 8)

P.S. I am in desperate need of spell check.....Biblos!

Hey FFC,

We're looking into it (I know, that's what I keep saying lately but it's sort out my hands really).

In any case, your best option for a spell check is the Google toolbar. After installing it, you can switch the spell check option on and it'll work on any text you input in a browser (including the search fields). I use it and it's great. The funny thing is when I type 'Google toolbar' it red-underlines 'toolbar' as an unrecognizable word. Sort of an exercise in self-denial I guess.
