YOu have to watch through to the end, some of you may have already seen this. But this has been a very interesting thing for a company to do.

Rather refreshing for a company to make this kind of statement....any comments?

Well...I tried it again and couldn't view the film. It may be because of all the security features on my computer...

Try now, it could be that the site changed the address

They actually have more little film clips....onslaught and evolution are the best. Any moms and dads out there, this is a good resource to start talking to your daughters about beauty. I don't agree about the title self-esteem, but he films have tremendous value

Wow, Zoegirl, I finally watched those videos. Very cool, but true! Believe it or not I am a licensed Cosmetologist, but I am not in the field anymore. I did many of those horrendous things to many a head and I could never figure out why, for the sake of "beauty", a woman would put her hair through such trauma. It may have been bad for business but I would tell women how destructive many of these hair services were to their hair. Usually they would just laugh and say they knew. I had to get out of it because of the effects the chemicals had on my lungs. Plus I hadn't been in the field very long and I needed to eat.

yeah, I used to perm back in the 80s.

What's amazing now is that straight hair is so "in" and I am amazed at the number of girls who spend close to an hour each day straightening their hair (when I would love to have curls!!)

Onslaught is pretty scary....I breath a sigh of relief that I am not a young girl growing up in these times.

Heh. I wish I had straight hair (I'm a guy, but I haven't cut my hair in about three years). I've had some friends straighten it before, and it lasted a couple of days at most. Oh well. 8)
