Here is the you tube link.
I think everyone probably has seen them. What is your opinion?

I think they are a bunch of hateful people who are confused on the word of God.

I personally think both sides had good points. HOWEVER, (before I get a lot of static)
I think that the way this woman and her family is handling things is WRONG. True Christians should, indeed, spread the Word. But this doesn't give us the right to push ourselves on others, or to protest funerals or what-not. There is a right way and a wrong way to handle things, and this is CLEARLY NOT the right way! This makes all Christians look bad. Telling people she was glad for 9-11, and for all God's judgement on earth? I personally think that God is punishing this nation for its sins, but that doesn't give me the right to cut down everyone, to bring pain to others. The interviewer was RIGHT when he asked the woman "what are your sins?" (no answer from her). And also, like the interviewer said, I answer to God not to her, for my sins. This woman needs to take "the log out of her own eye before she points out the speck in mine".

An observation I have is this kind of thinking is precisely what happens when people just believe that their interpretation of Scripture (or interpretation they have been taught) is the Word of God. This is why I think a board such as this one is great it can help to challenge various interpretations of Scripture, and hopefully help Christians to think more deeply about what they believe and reasons why they believe what they do in a non-hostile Christian environment.

Very good point Kurieo! thats exactly why I post on this board, to get others' interpretations and look it up myself, I think this is a great way for me to study the bible. (and one day I will actually spell your name right
)

Thanks for the responses so far. I like this board due to peaceful intelligent communication.
One of the things I think a Christian should concentrate on is the Love Jesus taught and to display ourselves to the best of that image a kind of WWJD what would Jesus Do.
We can still make a point in a positive aspect without being Hateful.

Yes, one thing this woman should do if she were a true Christian would be to ask WWJD? Does she really believe He would stand around funerals and protest?
I think NOT!

Yea, I do have an issue that I wrestle with.
This Family if the truly accept Christ as their Savior, then we will together after Jesus Comes again.
Even a life long Criminal / murder / rapist if he accepts Christ as their Savior on his death bed then they are also brought in to the Family.
While I am rambling there is scripture that says Leaders and Teachers of the Word of God will be Held more accountable than just a regular Joe. What chapter and verse is this? Anyone?) So this Family will be getting extra attention before the Judgment Seat of Christ.

It is in Matthew , Mark, Luke or John I believe. I will try to find it today myself. But I do remember reading it.

Maybe you are thinking of the following verse... ?
James 3: 1 Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. 2 We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to keep his whole body in check.
