My stupid friend

I have a friend who did a VERY STUPID thing.

He went to the Philippines (he is American his wife Philipina) with his wife and got caught in the airport with a substance that closely resembled meth or coke; it is called Shabu.

I was shocked to find this out, that he was involved in this. He now is arrested, and will probably do a few years minimum there. With a HUGE fine, they will not be shy about taking his money.

He has 3 children, and his wife is a dingbat.

Please pray for the children ages 8, 6, and 1.

Pray for him to get straightened out with out too much suffering in a Philippine prison.

Please Pray for his Wife the mother of the children so she may be straightened out also. (From my understanding she got him involved in this junk)

Just on a side note. If you are a druggie wouldn't the Airport be the LAST place to take the stuff?

Thanks for your prayers.

Yes, as the ex-wife of a crack junkie, I know what drugs can do to your life. My prayers are with you.

Update:

The 2 Boys Will be staying with us, and the little girl will be with another American family here.

The 2 boys and my son are friends and attend Tae-kwon-Do class together.

My neighbor has had a meeting with CID (army criminal investigation bureau) in order to assist this along without any crazy stuff to the people who want to help.

God has a handle on this.

Wow, that was certainly a bad move. Would it be a stupid question to ask if your friend is a Christian? I'll be praying.

Well we got the boys last night about 10 pm.

Seeing them come in with all their stuff in black hefty bags brought back memories.

I was raised in the Foster care system, but was blessed early to get a permanent family to love me. From 9 years old to this day they are my family.

We took the oldest boy to the doctor this morning for an ear infection, and also we will also have a visit from the tooth fairy (he lost a tooth while brushing this morning).

Please pray for the children more then likely they will eventually be split up. The oldest is not an American citizen and the other 2 children are. One may go to the Philippines and the 2 others to the states.

Peace
