He said he did not build Aiko as a sexual partner, but said she could be tweaked to become one.
I personally don't like where this is going!!!
If it's not faked though, the rest is REALLY cool!

CS Lewis talks about how after the fall, females turned into objects for a man's satisfaction. (I wish I could find where I had read that.) This sounds like the ultimate form of that: making a machine that does so much of what you want look like a human female. Bad idea. If men developed ways of making babies in test tubes or whatever (like in the book 1984, if I recall correctly), men wouldn't need women at all anymore, I suppose. They could just control everything and take the difficult aspects of life away; how boring.
Anything to make money, too.

This is really bizarre. Somehow, it must be fake because I live in Canada and have never heard of this. This seems like a tall tale.

If they had a social gospel in the days of the prodigal son, somebody would have given him a bed and a sandwich and he never would have gone home.

While the idea of a robotic wife/girlfriend is slightly creepy, I wouldn't mind having some kind of lifelike robot to do menial work.

So, is your mother bedridden?
