IU know you said you were unempplyed but you should check the makers of Remicade becuase they do have programs for those whose insurance refuse to cover it. I have been on it for colitis and have found that it has helped tremendously. It was originally used, however, for arthritis and psoriasis.

Will do withthe praying. I have begged to be healed form my colitis and so far God has not seen fit to give me that healing. (10 years)

Check their website http://www.remicade.com/remicade/global/index.html

I just know when I was investigating whether my insurance would carry it, the nurse told me that there were programs. If you have a doctor that you go to or a clinic that you go to for your arthritis, I'm surprised they haven't told you. If you haven't gone to one, at least check it out.

The infusions are every 8 weeks, I know it's not cheap, but then again, if this would help you get you back on your feet again, then it's worth a shot.

E-mail them as well, or call. It will be faster than

IN the meantime, you need to realize that God can place trials in our lives that aren't retribution for sins. Read through Job and you will see what I mean. THere are trials that do result from the consequence from our sins, certainly, but there are also trials that result from the fact that this world is corrupt. We will suffer. It's hard. You don't know how many times I have felt as you have felt, that God' must not be smiling at me. It's at those times when we need a whack upside a head (I just watched NCIS, with the famous Gibbs head-slap :ewink: ). God smiles at you everytime you seek HIm out. Your faith does not need to be perfect...

I thinkt hat is a common feeling amongst those with chronic conditions. The drearyness of the day in and day out of dealing with a condition that never seems to chagne. I think I have lived with pain and malaise so long that I have been in a state of continual surprise at how good I feel currently.

Maybe God will heal me, maybe He won't...it doesn't change the fact that He died for me and redeemed me. Same for you. What is that cliche? There is nothing that we can do that can make GOd love us more and there is nothing that we can do that can make GOd love us less. Certainly we should seek to change what we do, but we mustn't think that this would necessarily happen overnight.

If you want something that can address your other prayer request, see http://www.desiringgod.org/ResourceLibr ... bal_Cause/

Very astute...will be praying...

This has become my favorite quote lately
"Remember He is the artist and you are only the picture. You can't see it. So quietly submit to be painted---i.e., keep fulfilling all the obvious duties of your station (you really know quite well enough what they are!), asking forgiveness for each failure and then leaving it alone. You are in the right way. Walk---don't keep on looking at it."
— C.S. Lewis (The Collected Letters of C. S. Lewis, Volume 3: Narnia, Cambridge, and Joy, 1950 - 1963)
