fdit: I got a random text from my mother the other day that said, "Your brother just made me lose the game."

OKay, lest I make someone lose the game....please explain this....I think I know but want the details.

There are three rules.

Rule 1: You are playing The Game.

Rule 2: Whenever you think about The Game, you lose.

Rule 3: Loss must be announced.

I've heard that the game will be over when someone very important like king, queen, president, prime minister etc announces the game.

I don't really get it myself

okay, it is the game that my students have been talking about.

It plays upon the "don't think about pink elephants" psyche....once you say it you can't not think it.
