Hi all,
On Tuesday (Aussie time) my wife and I have our second baby arrive prematurely at 34 weeks. Was quite scary, with bleeding and all, but baby arrived with both healthy-ish.
My little man only had a 2 minute snuggle with my wife, and essentially since has been in intensive care hooked up to a CPAP machine with respiratory issues. His heels are quite bruised from the needle pricks, and all we can really do is look on and touch him through holes in the incubator. Looks to be getting jaundice also. *sigh* Feel so helpless, but your prayers for him and our family would be heaps appreciated.
Btw, we decided on a name kind of by default. Since he came early and we could not think of anything else we liked more, his name as you might have gathered from the subject is Isaiah.
Isaiah born
Re: Isaiah born
Congratulations K. Prayers for you, your wife, and especially your son . I remember 13 years ago the same thing happening with our younger son Robert. He was born with very low blood sugar and had to be put in an incubator for several days. Very scary. The Good Lord will watch over your son, K.
Let us proclaim the mystery of our faith: Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.
Lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.

Ok Kurieou, wow, OK. Will pray. It's great you are all OK. I'm sure you both are just wanting to hold him.
