I haven't watched any of the mystery science theatre, but I'd like to. I still like Young Frankenstein. There aren't that many plain old comedies, it seems. I mentioned that Lone Gunmen show - I think it is hilarious. I love Surf's Up, and I just watched Ghost Town. It was very funny (but it does have bad language, for any that avoid that.) I think I'm going to have to go to my Netflix account to jog my memory, lol. Actually, many of the Pokemon episodes are really very funny. Quite a few anime are very very funny.

Oh well, Young Frankenstein was a given :ewink: Young Frankenstein is absolutely at the top of my list, along with Airplane.

But I just remembered how funny Galaxy Quest was, given the trekkie parallels.

I was watching the filtered version of Idiocracy...while it has a huge issue with language...the TV version at least filters that out. It's not funny the way YF or Air[plane is...but it has some wicked commentaries about the state of society...very...unusual. Mike Judge directed it (he made Beavis and Butthead and King of the HIll).

MST3K is quite the trip....taking notoriously badly made movies and commenting over them.

Galaxy quest yes! loved that. I saw the man with two brains, the end was hilarious. The first half of hancock was quite funny but it the other half turned into quite a serious super hero film however it is a bit rude and not really a film for kids(which is good, who wants to be in a cinema full of noisy brats  )

I forgot to mention, monty python films. Good stuff imo!

How about Mickey Blue Eyes, My Blue Heaven, and the Naked Gun movies? The others mentioned are great too.

I like a lot of old movies and classic gangster and westerns but I watch other stuff.

The more chick flicky it is the less interest I have for it as a rule though there certainly are exceptions (sixteen candles, my big fat Greek wedding, Cold Mountain, etc...).

I can watch American Idol and reality television though I have a tendency to make comments once in a while which most people don't mind because it's rare and low key but there are people that want to hear nothing at all from anyone when they watch television or a movie. I certainly don't blame them for that.

For comedys, I like all the classic stuff from John Candy and Chris Faley. :)

Maybe a little Dumb and Dumber type stuff too hehe...
