Retail holiday sales are down quite a bit from last year and manufacturing isn't returning but still things are picking up a bit with regards to unemployment and finance sectors which is a bright spot. Maybe Americans will be able to choose a different retirement plan than the poor man's retirement plan. The poorman's retirement plan is where you buy a bunch of life insurance for your family and wait for the incontestability period to kick in then:
I actually knew someone who did the poor man's retirement plan about ten years ago. Crazy. Anyways, I don't see the infrastructure changes needed for real long term sustainable economic recovery but this 4th quarter has looked better overall except for the holiday retail sales.
The economy looks to be picking up a bit
