Favourite Film/Films?
I have a challenge for all of you. Whenever I've had this discussion with people, the film that almost always gets chosen as people's favourite is Shawshank Redemption. At least 8 out of 10 people choose this as their favourite. Yep, it's mine too! Can ANYONE think of a better film that this?
My top 3:
Shawshank Redemption
Heat
Saw

I don't know if these are better than Shawshank, but some of my favorites are: Saving Private Ryan, It's a Wonderful Life, and an 80's classic Killer Klowns From Outer SpaceDannyM wrote:I have a challenge for all of you. Re: Favourite Film/Films?
Mine would be:
1- The LOTR trilogy
2- Top Gun (I have my reasons, ok?)
3- I really struggled to find a 3rd favorite but I guess it would be Batman Begins

Let us proclaim the mystery of our faith: Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.
Lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.

That would be Tom Cruise. He's a hunk. Jk, I think you mean Kelly McGillis. Google Kelly McGillis to see what she looks like now. Quite a change from Top Gun.DannyM wrote:Hey byblos, would you like to divulge your reasons... You can PM me with them if you like ...Byblos wrote:Mine would be:

Just watched Lethal Weapon 3. The LW films may not be right up there, but they deserve a mention. Danny Glover and Gibson are brilliant together, very funny.

Re: Favourite Film/Films?
When I was in college, (lo these many years ago ....) we had a special film fest where you got in for free and had to pay if you left early during the 3 movies that were shown.
We made money.
The Three Movies?
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians
Billy the Kid vs. Dracula
and
The Terror of Tiny Town (an all midget, western musical)
