I was reading a thread about Obama and abortion, and a question (not related to the thread) comes to mind.
Before a person is born, where is his soul? Is it created at the conception or does God have a little “soul” storage facility in heaven? More to the point, are we in heaven before we are born or we just don't exist in any sense before conception?
I don't remember reading about it from the Bible so maybe someone can tell what the Christian stand on this is.
Curiosity question
Re: Curiosity question
To my understanding a soul is created at conception. We did not pre-exist in any form before that.Manfer84 wrote:I was reading a thread about Obama and abortion, and a question (not related to the thread) comes to mind.

Let us proclaim the mystery of our faith: Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.
Lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.

In a way you really answered the question yourself.
You said, "Before a person is born,......"
