What is the math behind infinite dimensions?

Numerous atheist have told me that infinite dimensions is mathematically possible. Of course I ask for the math behind this and I don't even get so much as a reasonable answer to back this claim up . Let alone grasp the concept of "infinite" to begin with. If there is math behind this theory its all made up rhetorical nonesense

They basically dream up anything and call it a fact... In this case they use numbers. Therefore you can't dispute it because it is thought to be logical.. In many cases they think they are Spock from Star Trek. He's cool, so now they are cool because they can think like him.. :roll:
