Well done to the USA for playing some good football - aside from the last game in the group you have put England to shame with the quality of football you have played so far in the World Cup!!

I keep hearing from my friends on facebook how well we are doing....I must say I keep forgetting to keep track....I did mention how hard it is for me to follow football (soccer)...I did see that awesome ending to that game...that was cool

Let me tell you that you have done yourselves more than proud as we stand right now. As you know I'm a US-phile and I really want you to do well ... And you DO have the quality!!

I know this is a bit off topic, but since we are talking about USA and UK...I heard an obscure reference when I was watching on of the 70's britcoms over here and I looked it up...it was a reference to Basil Brush...did you ever watch him? I actually found him on youtube (the seventies version was better than the modern)...

It seems to be the UK equivalent to Captain Kangaroo...
