WHy is it that fallen angels were never granted the gift of salvation unlike us humans?
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." (Psalm 19:1)

Yes, this is true. (I like that book btw) But from the way I see, the fallen angels wanted to go against God in every way. They may have committed the unforgivable sin, in order to show their absolute defiance towards the Lord. This is just a guess though, there is nothing in the Bible about what they did exactly, but I must agree with this:CeT-To wrote:well f i can rememeber right after i read a bit of the book of enoch no angel was forgiven ..none were given peace..the Watchers..
Let me do a little research from my old notes and I will get back to you okay?Telstra Robs wrote:God loves everyone unconditionally, and I assume that would include angels, which theoretically would allow them to be forgiven.
Well I am not necessarily assuming, however it makes one wonder about it. Why else, other than committing the unforgivable, would the fallen angels not seek out repentance, if it was offered to them? There is the reverse side that they are not offered salvation, however I find that hard to believe. Now if the book of Enoch is to be believed, the watchers did seek out salvation, however we must ask, were they sincere? To me, I think they were not, the way they acted before hand, with what knowledge they had, they were trying to use trickery to escape and continue to wreak havoc again. But let me look into this more and I will get back to you on this.DannyM wrote:The text is silent, and it would be silly to conclude to the negative.

I did not have you in mind, brother, when speaking of not assuming. I can be a tyrant - the most despicable of men, yet I can turn to our wonderful and merciful Lord with all my heart and be saved. The Good Book does not lie - for I can believe from the heart and be justified, and sayeth with my mouth and be saved Romans 10:10 ... If a low-life like me can achieve this wonderful gift, then the possibilities are literally endless.Gabrielman wrote:Well I am not necessarily assuming, however it makes one wonder about it. Brother, please do not be so hard on yourself. Through Christ you are made righteous, and clean and whole. You have had many helpful posts on this board, and overall your faith as a man of God shines through. We all fall on hard times, and get frustrated and fall short, but in the end God picks us all up. We are all equals, no sin is too great or small in His eyes, we are all the same. So let us stand on level ground together, as soldiers of Christ.DannyM wrote:I did not have you in mind, brother, when speaking of not assuming. Gab, I know what I am! I am not thinking of myself, but rather am thinking of the Goodness of our Lord. If I as a fallen individual can be saved, if I am given this unwarranted grace, then the outlook for all those fallen is pretty damn good!Gabrielman wrote:Brother, please do not be so hard on yourself. I wasn't sure who your post was addressed to, but I thought it may be good to answer anyway.
God Bless you!
