That's nice to know all that, but I love what the sculptor did! We are still a free country, but I think a lot of people don't feel too free anymore. If you can't work, or you end up at an unethical place to work and have no choice, I'm not sure how great "freedom" is. I think our country is pretty corrupt at this point, too, frankly. I hope it doesn't get any worse, and that the corruption that exists gets cleaned up, or else all the things our ancestors fought for will be lost. If I were in the military, I'd wonder what exactly it is I'm fighting for at this point (besides the safety of my family). Lol, I sound pessimistic, huh? I've been thinking of things lately, and how we can't seem to change things anymore (can we?). Politics is so entrenched, and relativism is so rampant. There is still much good out there, but there is so much greed and selfishness too . . . I need to go and find a smoothie to drown in. :)
