Then again, seeing as the internet, especially this website is populated entirely with bored people usually without lives who watch b-movies, StarTrek and obscure anime, then research books written thousands of years ago in Israel, after debating over every minor detail of how the universe came into being... Well, what can I say? Not to mention you have to be a nerd to frequent a place where it's surprising to hear people refer to the son of God as "Jesus Christ" instead of "Space Jesus", and half the image macros depict Richard Dawkins as a monkey.

And yes, I consider myself to be a nerd along with the rest of this website.

Yes because something that effects our very survival is not a trivial thing isn't it? You know how many of the billions of people in this world depend upon science? Science is essentially christian in nature, beleive it or not. Specifically, it believes that mankind is fallible, even sinfull at times, and definatly does not have infinite intelligence, and thus "the scientific method" must be used to be able to screen out what is true (proven as much as can be) from what is merely believed.
The bible also says that the natural world speaks of God, and that we can see God in it "so that we are without excuse".
That of course, means that we have to LOOK, and we should use christian principles to look, specifically use the central tenant of christianity that man is sinfull and fallable.
That means that God demands we DO SCIENCE.
Soooo the above video is one that God agrees with...more or less...
