Maybe I posted this in the wrong place, but after a bit of searching around, I found something to support a vague bit of speculation I had that Japan and ancient Israel were somehow related. It's in Japanese, but has English subtitles superimposed over the Japanese ones, which is good, because I can't speak a word of Japanese.

It's three parts as hinted above, so make sure you read all of them. It makes sense to me how they briefly bring up that Shintoism was possibly derived from Judaism, especially when you read in the Old Testament how the Jews would, against what God said, start worshiping other gods and such.

I also found the above article to be a very interesting and seems like it could at the least have a measure of truth to it. States everything in the above videos and more. I haven't read the rest of the parts, let alone the rest of the website(no telling WHAT is on there, since the website is, after all, Japanese), and found it on a Google search, but still seems promising.
I'd just like to know what y'all though about this. Personally, I'm not surprised.
Please move this topic if it's in the wrong place. .-.

Well it's certainly a possibility... Another interesting connection can be found with China and their connection to the stories of the Bible such as the garden of Eden and Adam and Eve, Noah's ark and the Tower of Babel..Ngakunui wrote:Maybe I posted this in the wrong place, but after a bit of searching around, I found something to support a vague bit of speculation I had that Japan and ancient Israel were somehow related.
