Please pray for my mother. I don't know if I can accurately describe her condition since we are not sure what exactly is its cause--she's not dying, but she has been in a terrible condition for at least three months now (barely able to get up from the bed and do anything).
Thanks
note: Neither me or her are very strong believers. In fact, I've been in severe doubts for quite some time now to the point of strongly considering the possibility of rejecting Christianity--and that is precisely why I'm asking others to pray for me, because it almost certainly wouldn't work with how weak my faith is now.

Praying for you and your mom. I'm sorry to hear about her condition. Have they proposed any diagnoses?

Praying for you and your mother, Noah.
Be strong and don't give up on God just yet, Jeremiah 29:13; Psalm 91:15; Matthew 7:7.

Will do, our friend in God...
Be not dismayed by circumstances and if you can, enlighten us more as what is happening as well if you think there is a cause that needs addressed, that is, if you feel comfortable sharing...
God bless you and strengthen you during this time not to stray but endure. Lord Hold Noah1201 in your everlasting arms and prove yourself to him in ways that will strengthen him and his mother - never let Noah go or his mother - hold them close to your heart - Amen...

Thanks guys. I really appreciate your support.
We're not sure what exactly is the cause. If you asked her, she would tell you that it's the virus called Coxsackie. And indeed, when she was young, she was diagnosed with this very illness. However, every doctor we've recently been to explicitly denied that Coxsackie can affect a person for such a long period of time. But she stubbornly refuses to listen and clings to her self-diagnosis.
In any case, she feels a little better now. But since every now and then, she has her "ups and downs", I'm not going to prematurely celebrate, so please keep her in your prayers, still.

My friend the weakest of faiths can shine brighter than the sun. Never think that because you have doubts God will not listen to you. Prayers for your mom

As far as I know, Jesus constantly attributed miracles not being possible (like casting out demons) to a lack of faith in His disciples.

Noah,
There are scriptures that say that. But Byblos was only saying, that because you have doubts doesn't mean that God isn't hearing you. A believer has direct access to the throne of God. You don't have to go through another. Although it certainly wouldn't be wrong to seek out the prayer and counsel of others. God knows His sheep, even when they have wandered and aren't hearing Him well.
James 1: 5-8
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
This verse would seem to confirm what you say. Except for one matter. It wasn't written specifically to you or me. It was written to, "the twelve tribes scattered among the nations.." (James 1:1)
So, one thing that can help us with our doubts is to better understand God's Word, and to understand it rigthly divided. That way we can better know His will and His word and how it applies to our lives. In this way we can grow in our faith, and overcome doubts.
So, I guess a good thing would be to know more about your doubts. Although you are not feeling confident in your faith, you still claim to be a believer. Obviously I don't know you. So what is your testimony as a believer?
