Gman are you talking about liberal theology or liberal politics?
If you are talking politics I could not agree more

Very often those who appeal to "tolerance" the most, are actually the least tolerant.

I, personally, am sick of all these political labels. It seems to me to cause some people to fight for the side they're a part of, even in cases they don't entirely agree. I see people as people, not liberal or conservative.
Didn't Mr. Washington warn against political parties to begin with?

maybe political parties was good if One side was against abortion. A whole political party should be around just to oppose abortion, it's evil.

can you imagine this country with one party, it really really would not work at all.
I'm a fan of perhaps a multi-party system (3+ parties) but I do not see that happening any time soon

I once knew a Libertarian. She worked at the NY city public library. Her name was Mrs. Dewey D. System. Nice gal.
