What is it with this term?
I'm not casting any doubt on the quality of science being applied by “creation scientists,” but why the qualifier?
Is it reactionary?

It's a specific term to, yes, label someone as specifically endorsing a view on the origins.

It's honest. It states one's presuppositions up front as to what lens evidence is being viewed through.
Many are Atheist Science, but you'll never see em fess up to it.

I’m all for fessing up to one’s presupps, but don’t you think it sounds a bit Jurassic park like? It sounds like a mini wonderland or something. Doesn’t sound good. Maybe It’s me.
