Similarities between Krishna/Jesus

What was up 2000+ years ago? Why is it, I read up on different religions and I see that Shiva is similar to the Jewish God of the Bible, for being a wrathful God? Krishna came to earth as a son of God, and his Greek name translates to Christos, just like Jesus, both were visited by wise men (guided by a star), both were without sin, both celebrated a last supper, and forgave his enemies, and ascended into heaven.
Why would the Lord allow this many similarities? I know the biggest difference is Jesus Christ forgave sin for all, permantly. Karma still continues even with Krishna being gone, so a Hindu would rather become a Christian to get rid of his/her sin. But still, why all the similarities? From what I've read, these two religions have nothing in connection in terms of influence but why do they have so much in common?

Tekton apologetics ministry has a few good articles on non-Christian religions, and their alleged "similarity" with Christianity. The truth is, some of those similarities occur because of probability (to celebrate a last supper or forgive your enemies isn't so unlikely, one has to admit), or because Christian terminology is used to describe doctrines of non-Christian religions, which leads to these apparent similarities. More on Krishna here:

I also suggest the section about pagan religions in general, very informative:
