Hey guys, I want to read my Bible more! I don't know where to start to find things I can apply to my life or help me understand God's love for me. Any suggestions? I also want to know my way around the Bible... the history.. how different stories and events intermingle with each other. Are there any good places to learn about that?

Start with the New Testament, it is most important to know what Christ has done for us! I would suggest any of the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) as well as Acts and a couple of Paul's letters, perhaps Romans. The first three Gospels are good for understanding what he did, and John and Romans are good for understanding what that means for us! The rest of the New Testament is also great to read, I would make that first on your reading list. As for history, you can go about reading the entire Old Testament, but if you are a bit new to the Bible I would suggest finding some sort of guided reading program to help you understand. I'm sure some of the other members have a lot more to add than I!

Good luck and God bless!
