Evidence for God from Science

Alright it's time to put you evangelicals (which I'm guessing is in the majority here) in the hot seat.

It would make sense to me that if God were to reveal himself to mankind in the form of Jesus Christ , the ideal and only way to spread his message down to hundreds of generations over thousands of years would be through a timeless institution that doesnt allow the corruption of his revelation - cue here the Catholic church , the rock on which Peter started the mission.That his message has/had been corrupted doesn't wash away the principle behind the primacy of the Catholic church.Am I right ?

Also how can you believe in protestant doctrines like Sola Scriptura and Sola Fides , which lets be honest is man made and is in no way a part of the teachings of the early church fathers ?

This is largely an apologetically minded site and my above two points have used the tools of history and reason so what say you ?

Perfect timing, nothin' like a controversial Catholic subject to distract away from all that (trivial) Arminian/Molinist/Calvinist stuff.

Curious, have you read any of the confessions and creeds of the major protestand denominations?
