What is that which drives our searches?

Scientists have no idea on that which drives our searches. Is it expectations, is it observations which drive our searches? Scientist had claimed that it is the observations which drive our searches. Here is another theory, the 'theory of expected knowledge'. Is asks a plain question - is every knowledge unexpected? It proves to the point, your knowledge about anything and everything is not unexpected.
