Quantum physics and free will

Hey everyone,
I saw someone posted the link to this video on my facebook profile today. I was just wanting to see what everyone's thoughts are on this regarding the dualism vs. physicalism debate regarding the human mind/brain.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFLR5vNK ... e=youtu.be
The guy talking on this video, I've seen him before, I see him on cnn and elsewhere all the time. I remember one of the times he was talking about how he believes in space aliens and how we will be invaded by them soon. So with that considered I don't know if what he is saying in the video above holds much substance either. I think he is also big buddies with Stephen Hawking if that says anything.
But anyway, thanks for your time. GB.

Are not angels and Christ "space aliens"? I believe in "space aliens" too. Define "space aliens"...

I've heard from some yecs that believe most real space alien accounts are not just angels but fallen angels (demons) So I have no idea. I've never seen any yet in person so I don't really have much of a serious take on that. I was more interested in the video link I provided that talks about freewill, the mind/brain and physicalism and dualism (human soul).
I wanted to keep the discussion about those topics instead of space aliens, I was giving people more of a background about the guy speaking in the video.

I found on the web an interesting question:
http://www.scientificamerican.com/artic ... -free-will
"What difference does it make if my conscious choices were programmed in at the big bang or decided on the fly by random particle events?"
What is also interesting is this:
http://compassioninpolitics.wordpress.c ... n-science/:
"The Nobel Prize–winning physical chemist IIya Prigogine showed that for systems of the complexity of the brain, even if their components were completely deterministic, there are solutions for dynamical equations of the system as a whole that are nondeterministic.”"
That guy in the video is Michio Kaku. That he is a friend with Hawking? So what.

Brilliant physicist. His metaphysics, not so much. Then again, look what company he keeps.
