Effectively everyone nailed him to the cross and he prayed that we be forgiven and yes we have been forgiven if we accept the sacrifice that Jesus made.

Now what is with all these questions, I feel like I am being played with like some sort of toy.

Why don't you just come out and say what you want to say without beating around the bush, not meaning any offence by this.

Who nailed him to the cross? All of humanity did, past, present, and future. Specifically? Probably Jews who hated the idea that he was the Messiah because he wasn't waving a sword around and sticking it to the Romans that way. Also Romans didn't care for him either.

at last - I thank you Paul for daring to care - this is anti semitic and in line with what the Pope recently stated - look around and notice that not only has Christ's prayer been answered but blessed for the present day Romans and Rome are the bastion of Christianity attempting along with St.Joseph to take Him down from the cross they crucify and crucified Him - twinc

The Romans were "excused" in the sense that they TRULY had no idea what they were doing.
The Sanhedrin (not the Jews) on the other hand, were fully aware of what they did.

not exactly - the jews ran before Him with hosannas and would have Him for King which was exactly what Pilot and the Romans feared hence the board ridiculing Him as "King of the Jews" - twinc

The Romans exceuted Jesus under the (false) understanding that he was a revolutionary against Rome, he wasn't.
He was a "revolutionary" against the Temple and the Temple system and that is why the Sanhedrin wanted him Gone.
