Evidence for God from Science

I'd say it all depends on the perspective... for a person standing on the Earth, the Sun revolves around it, while to a person standing on the Sun (not possible due to heat, but hypothetically speaking), the Earth would revolve around the Sun. After all, with so many forces at work, who can know for sure what's revolving around what?

Galileo was a Christian and the church didn't "disagree" with him, they said he need more proof, that isn't the same thing.
To discount all that science has shown us to be so is to suggest a conspiracy of epic preportions with NO reason for being.

which reminds me that flys and insects,spiders etc are not so wondefull walking upside down and sideways on walls and ceilings - humans are doing this very thing on different parts of the globe that is earth - twinc

Thanks FL you just proved my point as a plate is like a shallow bowl and since the Earth has a lot of water it must be a bigger bowl.

FL, Daniel has a good point. I may have to rethink my "flat earth theory". Nevermind, the bible says the earth is flat, the earth is the center of the solar system, all times the word yom is mentioned, it has to mean "24 hour day", and, most importantly, fred flintstone had pet dinosaurs.

Very often, new converts to Flat Earth Truth will become legalistic and insist that ''flat'' in ''flat earth'' means ''flat like a sheet of paper.'' This is just like the Israelites who obeyed the letter of the law but raped its spirit. FOOLS!

A flat earth will have mountains, lakes, valleys, rivers, plateaus, oceans and so on. Go outside and look around at the EVIDENCE! And who among you has a dinner plate that is completely flat?

I was under the impression it was carrot shaped and we lived on the little flat bit at the top, you flat earth folks ain't seeing the full picture.
