mea culpa

When I make a mistake its a beaut.
On my God and Jesus thread I started off with:
In Mathew, Mark, and Luke do they say that Jesus ever claims to be the Son of God, if so, where, and if not, why not?
I meant to say: In Mathew, Mark, and Luke do they say that Jesus ever claims to be God, or does anyone claim he is, if so, where, and if not, why not?
My error has led to a huge misunderstanding and remarks by myself that were uncalled for
I think before the Gospel of John at least, was written, people did not assume that Son of God always equaled God.
I will not accuse anyone of giving evasive replys unless someone actually does so, IMHO.
If you think I am wrong about "the Son of God", or that otherwise the syntopics maintain someone said Jesus is God, say so, but unless you keep it short, I may not be able to follow you.
