When you pray do you ever deliberately tell God what you think He might not want to hear?
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." (Psalm 19:1)

What do you mean by that?ultimate777 wrote:When you pray do you ever deliberately tell God what you think He might not want to hear?
All the time. It's called confession.ultimate777 wrote:When you pray do you ever deliberately tell God what you think He might not want to hear?
That He seems at least very much to be less than perfect, and you wish he would do things differently.Sam1995 wrote:What do you mean by that?ultimate777 wrote:When you pray do you ever deliberately tell God what you think He might not want to hear?

God's always up for confession.Byblos wrote:All the time. It's called confession.ultimate777 wrote:When you pray do you ever deliberately tell God what you think He might not want to hear?
This might be a better answer than the first one I gave you, but it takes an effortSam1995 wrote:What do you mean by that?ultimate777 wrote:When you pray do you ever deliberately tell God what you think He might not want to hear?

How about.......accusation?
For starters not stopping all the mass murder in the world, such as the holocaust. Then there is this little thing about allowing us to be made prone to sin. And then blaming us when we do. That is if the Bible is mistake free.1over137 wrote:Accusation?ultimate777 wrote:God's always up for confession.Byblos wrote:All the time. Matthew 6:
"9 “Pray, then, in this way:
‘Our Father who is in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 ‘Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
What is God to be accused of?
Lol, ultimate, you have been asking the same question for more than a year now. You have been given answers before too. You just don't like the answers, admit it.For starters not stopping all the mass murder in the world, such as the holocaust. Then there is this little thing about allowing us to be made prone to sin.
