I am finding it harder and harder to have any faith in people.

I mean this is really condoning infanticide.

People are selfish and will do whatever it takes and rationalize whatever the need to, to do what they feel is best for them.
This we know.
Of course, if all we are is highly evolved animals, but animals nevertheless then abortion is a far more "humane" thing that the infanticide that happens in the natural world.
There are many reasons that can be used to justify an abortion.
There is really only one reason to NOT: Life is sacred.

Babies have survived after 22 weeks, so anything more is clearly infanticide. The bill has apparently ben amended from 24 weeks down to 16 to try make it more palatable to upper house.
