Hell and Heaven

Why did God create satin knowing the he would turn against him resulting in the creation of hell. How could heaven be delightful if we know people are burning for all eternity. I just don't understand how allowing people to send themselves to hell for an infinite amount of time for sins they committed or that they didn't believe in God for a finite amount of time on earth. When Jesus was sacrificed, although very painful, does not come close to going to hell for eternity. It just doesn't make sense, how can you create something, claim you love it and then allow them to go to hell. Help on this subject would greatly be appreciated.

The same way he he gave us free will, including satan. God could not have made satan but then he could not have made us to begin with, no sin, no hell, but then no humans, no free will either.
Sin is not devil, the devil sinned! sin is basically going against god will, doing something against the nature of God. Any being with free will can sin or can go against god's nature. So either God creates slaved humans without free will and no sin happens...or God could create no free will agents and there would be no sin. This means no creation.
Think of it this way, when you give birth to a child, you know for certain that he will get sick, bruised, hurt in a life time...and one day he will also die. So you have two options either you birth the child or you don't. If you don't there is no hurt which follows but there is no child as well. If you give birth to the child who has his own mind and will, you are completely accepting the possibility that hurt will follow as a consequence.
In this dilemma, God chose us to gave life.
