I know of a few folks who lost their coverage thru those nice letters. Their coverage was perfect for them. They are finding it cost more to get less than what they had before.

You must be mistaken B. W. Obama promised that if we like our insurance we can keep it.

This will be its downfall. The entire premise of ACA is that the young and uninsured will buy into it (so their premiums or penalties can be used as a subsidy for others who eligible who cannot afford it) and that others who have insurance will keep it so no more new need. As it turns young people are shunning it and those who are insured but have policies that are 'substandard' are getting canceled. This is the double whammy that will turn ACA into the most massive entitlement program EVER.

It has affected me. I spend my workday driving around from here to there and listen to a US radio station* for part of my day. I'm sick of hearing about Osamacare!

It must be bad if the socialist Canadians are already tired of it. y/:)

I think it's a mess, but I still think that something should be done do make health care affordable to all people. Therefore I'm not exactly against our government for trying. Also, I'm not opposed to forms of socialism.

Anytime you have a massively impactive law that has, at least, 10,000 pages of tiny sized type regulations - which next to no one voting for it had actually read through, in detail, beforehand, or truly understood it - it's a prescription for disaster. Calling it a train wreck doesn't go far enough. But people wanted to believe what politicians told them about it - especially as many thought it was going to be a virtually free - or, at least, a much cheaper - lunch. I'm not sure anything will change for the better until we either run out of gullible, naive and brain-dead voters or cheap trinkets available for the snake oil salesmen (oops, I mean, politicians) to keep dangling in front of them. People believe what they want to, facts so often being irrelevant and inconvenient to them.

Not to mention the decimation of U.S. forests necessary to print the crazy thing! Doubt Office Depot has a three-ring binder to fit that sucker. Idiots!

I implore people that are complaining, negative, and slanderous in their assessments of this new law to reconsider using idle words.

Unless you are elected to power by a corrupt, inapt, system of U.S. government...you have nothing but useless opinion to offer. Even then; you are one vote in a sea of disunity.

Our God is sovereign over all principality, and power....and ultimately nothing prevents His Will from being done.
All partisan bickering and complaining is idle and vain. This is the law; be thankful for what we have, pray for our enemies (many government leaders), love your neighbor as yourself, and stop complaining.

Complaining is Not a fruit of the Holy Spirit. It comes from a lack of trust in God's sovereign Will.

The whole context of the politics of health care is perverted by man's foolish attempts to assign a monetary value for this potentially life-saving service. Did our Lord Jesus or the good samaritan ask for money for healings and good works?

The U.S. military is 100% government funded and operated....and most people do not have a problem with that. Or should we fund the military the same way as health care? Then only the wealthy will be adequately defended.

Even Solomon, the wisest of his time, said outside of fearing God and keeping His commandments....all is Vanity. Any questions?

No questions, but certainly a suggestion. You should make a post on the introductory forum and let us know a little bit about yourself, maybe get to know us a bit and let us get to know you, before you presume to start lecturing.

Any questions?

Yes...Why do you use the word "lecture" in a negative way and feel the need to offer an idle suggestion with a condescending tone?
My post had already passed moderation...more judgement is not necessary. Thanks. Any answers? Any positive comment?

Jcgood, you probably had in mind verses like these http://www.openbible.info/topics/dealin ... vil_people
I take it that original poster just wished to be informed on how the new law influenced people. Also, we should care for the poor and when they cannot afford health care ...

Anyway, I think this thread is more about information than about complaining.
