Suppose this politician.......
Suppose an elected official comes up with an idea for something questionable. He gets you, a top helper of his, to implement it. You are very enthusiastic. However something goes wrong and his administration seems to be blamed for it. Suppose he fires his you, disclaims knowledge, and blames it all on you. What do you do?

I can't help but see a parallel to the punishment of Adam and Eve by God, for messing up...ultimate777 wrote:Suppose an elected official comes up with an idea for something questionable. It would be a blessing if they missed the cairns and got lost on the way back. Or if
the Thing on the ice got them tonight.
I could only turn and stare in horror at the chief surgeon.
Death by starvation is a terrible thing, Goodsir, continued Stanley.
And with that we went below to the flame-flickering Darkness of the lower deck
and to a cold almost the equal of the Dante-esque Ninth Circle Arctic Night
without.

I am suprised you did not get it. The official is Christie. Need I say more?RickD wrote:Blame it on Bush?ultimate777 wrote:Suppose an elected official comes up with an idea for something questionable. He gets you, a top helper of his, to implement it. Ben Ferguson a local talk show guy on Fox Radio said obviously Christie is innocent or the lady he fired could have and would have outed him because her future career prospects are ruined especially if its thought it was her idea. I was kind of wondering why no one seems to have thought of that? If there are flaws in BF's argument, let's have them.

The cure for Christie is to switch parties and become a hero...
The is fitting for them all and those who give a free pass to real criminally minded schemes which violate life and the the US Constitution.
Conserva-phobia is a topic no one is willing to discuss.
As for Christie, if he is innocent or guilty, it will be discover in due time. In the meantime the real stories go unnoticed - like CA in serve drought stage. Hmmm look at their political leanings...
NY Governor on Radio telling conservatives to move out the state... and a commie NYC mayor...
In Colorado, the liberal mecas, hit by major floods and then hurting others downstream from them. And recently the 90 to 70 mile winds that had in their area alone ... all unnoticed
How the most indebted and fiscally unsound States are on the West Coast and North East coast and Illinois in the middle...
How one peculiar storm after another keeps hitting the same areas...
Then add the IRS targeting conservative get out the vote groups and Christians organizations like the Grahams, add in Benghazi and the recent findings and whom they incriminate, and a host of other cover ups...
And people are worried about only Christie ???
Same on us ...
