Capital's Unquenchable Quest For Mammon

..Here in the 21st century...Sodom...the world.... is under a historically unparalleled GLOBAL....economy.

..since 1981....we have seen the astonishing expansion of Capital's.....unquenchable thirst for cheaper and cheaper labor...and expendable people...who

are valued to be worth less and less...and abused in many parts of the "developing world".

...while people can be heard in multitude speaking out against ...this injustice or that one...

NEWS FLASH...game over.... Capital has won....Labor has been defeated....The war on Labor has prevailed...in disgraceful triumph!

I am astonished at the lack of mainstream news coverage about this global war on labor.....that was attempted to be misdirected to the inapt and murderous "war on terror".

Last time I checked....Al Qaeda...or... Obama...the catch-all for blame....was not responsible for the U.S. sub-minimum wage that forces many, hard-working people to need government/assistance programs for food and shelter....and has turned major parts of America's cities...like Detroit...to become slums....

I have only heard the lone voice of the Pope...speak out in warning....and identifying this snowballing economic paradigm shift ...in this vicious attack on righteousness, peace and joy.....as it oppresses God's people...

....Yes ..we saw it well illustrated in the enslavement of the Israelites....in Egypt.

How can a person who loves righteousness be silent about this horrible quest for mammon.....under the guise of a global, libertarian labor market....advertising...."economic freedom"...."free trade"...?

When actually it is the old, Egyptian Slave Trade.....in new packaging...where the world's forgotten people...are left at God's mercy....in Capital's ever increasing by-product.....slums and wars.

Thankfully...the Lord will call His Son.... "out of Egypt".....again when Jesus Christ returns.....

Until that day.......woe to those who call good ..."evil"......and call evil...."good".

Also jcgood, i wish to ask, since you mentioned that people are silent, have you demonstrated, or published some column in newspaper, or wrote a book? I know you have your blog for writing your opinions, you also came her to post your opinions. What else?

jcg, I'd like to invite you to practice what you preach, and help you start:

* The computer and or smart phone and/or tablet you use and the networks those devices use are all the creations of eeeee-vile capitalist, profit-seeking corporations. Get them out of your house and life!

* The power, phone and water (if you are not using your own well) service to your home are all the creations of eeeee-vile capitalist, profit-seeking corporations. Get off their grids!

* The house or apartment in which you live were almost certainly built by eeeee-vile capitalist, profit-seeking corporations and/or built with materials from such companies. Leave your domicile and build your own, using materials you create using tools of your own making.

* The clothes you wear were almost certainly manufactured by eeeee-vile capitalist, profit-seeking corporations. And the cloth made from plant, animal or artificial fibers/materials produced by eeeee-vile capitalist, profit-seeking corporations. Give away your current clothes (or burn them), and grow, weave and tailor your own clothes.

* The food you eat was processed by and grown by eeeee-vile capitalist, profit-seeking corporations and individuals. Get rid of it and grow your own from seeds you find wild. If it suits your ethics, hunt and fish, but don't use weapons and gear produced by eeeee-vile capitalist, profit-seeking corporations.

Seriously, don't do any of that. My real point is that you cannot live as you do without the capitalist corporations and individuals you despise; you may not be able to live at all, without those corporations and their products and services. As for recent attempts by other countries to craft economies without capitalism, the kind word for them is "failures". Communism, in its various forms, has been vastly more brutal and murderous than any caricatured capitalist you could imagine! And theocracies like Iran or thugocracies like Zimbabwe are hellholes not far behind the Communist states. Capitalism may "suck", but just about everything else in the modern world sucks far worse!

BTW, have you ever noticed and thought about God's commands, in the Law of Moses, forbidding theft and forbidding favoring either the rich or the poor in justice? Really thought about those commands? For example, that God recognized and provided protections for private property - goods and land - in human society?

Pete Sin CA:

The reason I ignore you....is because you don't read my posts accurately...and post false assessments...

For example....you posted this..
My real point is that you cannot live as you do without the capitalist corporations and individuals you despise

Capitalism That Serves.....Not Deserves

philip...I concur that capitalism is NOT inherently evil or good....and it can work fairly well....IF...
it is REGULATED appropriately, AND VERY PROGRESSIVELY TAXED....(U.S. history 1950 - 1980).
....your false assessments are just silly....good bye.. :pound:

The tax, labor, and regulatory policies you praise all but destroyed several major US industries, such as steel and automobiles. The process is slower than the process Lenin and Stalin used, and not murderous, but the industries are destroyed, nevertheless.

Use a little common sense. If government makes business unprofitable or very marginally profitable - by taxing and regulating the @#$% out of them, the very policies you advocate - businesses will cease innovating and/or move elsewhere and/or go out of business. If government taxing and regulating and regulating businesses out of business or out of the country isn't a manifestation of despising business, I don't know how despising business could be much worse, short of violence! I think the problem you have with me isn't that I post "false assessments" but that I understand where your ideas will lead, seemingly better than you do.
