The BDS Movement (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) is starting to get some push-back, and not just from politically conservative folk. I think the BDS folks' sincerity needs a good test ... like maybe pointing out that Intel has major R&D and fab facilities in Israel. Let the BDS anti-Semites and the folks they've duped show they are sincere by boycotting products that use Intel processors and chipsets. And for follow-up (just in case they do find computers that have no Intel ICs), the BDS folk can then boycott any electronic products that use components manufactured by Vishay, a company that does billions of $$ worth of manufacturing in Israel. Vishay isn't a household name, like Intel, but their components are ubiquitous in electronics. Adding insult to injury for the BDS folk, Vishay was founded by a Holocaust survivor who named it to honor relatives who died in the Holocaust. The BDS folk would be unable to find almost anything electronic that does not use products from companies with substantial operations - engineering and manufacturing - in Israel. IOW, the BDS folk would be almost unable to use any modern electronic technology to advocate their antisemitism without violating the B they advocate.

A recent attempt at boycotting Israeli university academics is also causing some push-back in US universities and in legislation. One thing I like in what I'm seeing is that the push-back is going beyond defending status quo into de-legitimizing the BDS Movement.

Thank you Pete for bringing this up. I for one cannot understand how our universities would be backing the highly demonic, anti-Semitic, Nazi loving BDS Movement and other criminals that wish to delegitimize the Jewish state of Israel. Israel has done nothing to deserve this type of treatment from our "so called" intellectual institutions. It's about time that someone pushes back and start running campaigns to de-fund these programs that get involved in such tyranny.PeteSinCA wrote:A recent attempt at boycotting Israeli university academics is also causing some push-back in US universities and in legislation. Here is but one of the many ways Israel has been one of the greatest contributors to our agricultural needs. And the list goes on... G-d is with Israel.
