I have been told that the writers of the bible could have just been on hallucigens rather than having been divinely led. Your opinions on this subject?

The people who told you this ... what were they smoking? And are they Cheech & Chong fans?

Well Venusians I know say Bible writers were Uranians, but a dude from Ork told me they really were Neptunians. And I believe him.
Seriously, other than their imaginations, on what evidence do these acquaintances make their claim? Or is it just, "You can't prove me wrong, so it must be so"?

The evidence for this can be found in Sleep's epic sludge metal song, Dopesmoker.
You can listen here:

It's about an hour of repetitive drone guitar with lyrics that are about this
precise thing.
BOOOOWWWWWW BOW BOOOWWWWWWWWW BOW BOW BOWWWWWWWWW
Also, they use the word marijuanaut, which is pretty great.
