Evidence for God from Science

So here is my situation

I'm 24, I've made some not-so-smart sexual decisions in my days. I got a routine STI test done (chlamidia, syph, gohnorrea, HIV).

they say if we dont call you in 48 hours with results, then it is negative

SO a week goes by, no call, I figure I'm fine. Get a call from my doctor office today saying my results are in, and they would like to discuss them.

Here's the thing, i dont have any symptoms, and out of those 4, 3 of them would have normally shown symptoms by now. HIV doesnt necessarily show symptoms

so as you can imagine i am literally the most scared and nervous I have ever been in my life. and it is my own fault.

I know miracles can happen. I know God can work what is physically impossible. I need whatever it is to not be HIV-positive. (the rest can be cured)

I've already prayed and bargained (which is selfish i know) that i will stop sleeping around, stop with porn, and talk to one of my pastors about helping me stay sex-free until marriage.

I really need prayer right now. If i can make it to the office tomorrow I will find out my results. Until then I feel so scared and shaky and like my life is over

Will pray, just go to your doctor as soon as you can. Whatever it is, you need to know it. I can imagine what you must be going through and how dreadful it is indeed. But to live in this fear is even more terrifying and you need to Have some courage buddy. Keep us posted. We will pray.

I feel you will be ok. I know the stress of taking an std test. I took one also and im a virgin lol.

Just keep praying and try not to stress out too much. When you find out yourt free of anything it will be like a huge boulder lifted from you, but you should be very proud of yourself that during your most stressed times that you came to Christ in prayer and also had the humility to ask others to pray for you. This is Christ working in your right now my friend

With my work schedule I still haven't been able to see my doctor. But the local health authority tried calling me which I don't think is good news. I have to call them back

I'll be trying to set up an appointment with one if my pastors today
And I'll try to get a hold of the health authority and see what they wanted

My brother has been talking me through this crisis and even though he reassures me that through God, everything is fine, I still feel like I may have thrown my life away

I am so scared to get my result, my sleep has sucked, I've barely been eating, and I've been praying lots but I still haven't gotten a message from God yet

turns out it was only chlamydia. i have learned so many things this week

1) learning how to pray better
2) humility, asking others for help
3) God can teach you a lesson at ANY TIME using ANY resource
4) my desire for porn has already decreased, even though i believe my sexual desire will still be a struggle, but hopefully i start meeting with my pastor soon
5) learned to accept Gods will, no matter what it is

and even though I never got a direct message from God, this experience has brought me closer and i believe has increased my faith

the elation and relief i felt today was incredible. I feel this represents the elation you feel after having the burden of sin, and learning Jesus can lift that off of you

thank you all for your prayers, I do believe this worked. now it is 1 week of anti-biotics, and hopefully if i stay strong enough and pray enough, no more sex until marriage

I must thank GOD also for giving me this trial, and for what it has taught me

I have found that the best way to overcome something spiritually is to pray and keep fellowship with believers, seeking help when you need it because that is one of the main reasons why the church exists.
