I wonder if your news write about Slovakia, but probably you will not read that reporters are being fired from their work if they are not suitable for the pro-west push.
Today I learned that reporter from Radio Sloboda (freedom) was fired after 25 years of his work there. He shot an exhumation of 4 bodies of persons killed by batalion Ajdar. The 4 young men did not thread the ukrainian army and were not armed.
In recent days the fight against "pro-Russia" medias was declared. Such media were declared to be an enemy.
There is a split between people and Slovak society starts to be polarized.
Not good at all.

I have not heard anything about this but at the same time I don't like the thought of another cold war,or any kind of war because our country does not unite and it causes political turmoil in our country. It divides us as a nation, republican talk worries me greatly because we don't know how to win anymore.Political correction always gets in the way.America cannot do anything unless it unites and it does not know how to unite anymore. So America can really only complain about Russia's actions and that's about it.

We don't hear about Slovakia here either. Your country is off the beaten path, along with Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia/Herzegovina, Macedonia and others.
You are an intelligent and highly educated woman, and the same goes for your husband...Why don't the two of you emigrate to a country such as the USA or Australia or New Zealand? If you speak German, why not move to Austria which is just one hour away? How about CERN in Geneva? You don't
have to stay in Bratislava.

Hana, I haven't heard anything about that either.
And FL is right. I was unhappy in my native land, so I emigrated to Florida. I like it much better here.

Australia is a nice place, I'm sure. I can be serious... sometimes. Even so, I won't be visiting Oz until Pangea comes back together again. You guys are just so
far away!

Slovaks are lax people as a nation. They ignore elections, saying nothing will change. So maybe when one day some other rich group would like to have dominion here, maybe the process would go without violence and harms on lives.
It's like: just the ruler change over a slave.
In history our nation was always someone's slave.
