B.W., 35 years ago, when i first truly came to Jesus, i read that some 70% of the world could die in the last days/end times ... i didn't get that then because at least 50% of the world was Christian or at the least, God based. How could 70% of the population succumb if so many were Christian....?

I get it now. They aren't Christian. What a horrible surprise in store for those who believe what they believe instead of what God has taught. I never would have believed back then that Satan could have done such a complete and masterful job as he has done in these 35+ years influencing man in the way he has.

Satan, and all the evil spirits, prowling the earth, seeking the ruin of men's souls..... this is no joke,no slight of hand no :poke: ... it is as real as the bible tells and dismissing it as fairy tale or unChristian rhetoric to scare kids is pitifully ironic... and Satan is laughing all the way to hell.

I am not sure how one can be a Christian and NOT believe in "the devil".

Let's see...seeing how I do believe the devil exists, do I think he is grateful when people say he doesn't exist?

grate·ful
ˈɡrātfəl/
adjective
feeling or showing an appreciation of kindness; thankful.
"I'm very grateful to you for all your help"
synonyms: thankful, appreciative; More
archaic
received or experienced with gratitude; welcome.
"enjoying the grateful shade"
Somehow, I just don't see Satan as being the kind of guy who is very appreciative of anything. :giverose:
John 5:24
24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

Some Christians believe the devil is a metaphor. Kinda like some Christian evolutionists believe Adam and Eve aren't literal either.

Sure, but I think it is more of a stretch to view The Satan as a metaphor when Christ explicitly states him as a person.

How is it more of a stretch? The apostle Paul mentions Adam as a person. Both satan and Adam are spoken of as real in the NT. Yet some Christians believe they weren't literal.

So, when you're not sure how one can be a Christian without believing the devil is real, you understand how some of us feel when people don't think Adam was real. When both are spoken of as real in the NT.
