Hello everyone. I need some advice. I found an inappropriate site on the history of my younger brothers tablet. I want him to stop, but i think that this will be uncomfortable and awkward for both of us if i talk to him about it. I don't want him to go down the road i did, and make the same mistakes i did. Luckily it seems like this is the first time, but who knows. I want to catch this weed while i still can uproot it.
Please give me advice and ideas to confront him and stop this.
Many thanks!

You could talk to him about what he learned from that site about history. Assuming the site is wrong, you will need to show that to him via reliable historical sources. Maybe then he will not like to read that site anymore as providing wrong info. (Assuming that.)
Some here are very knowleadgable on the history. If needed, try their help as well.
Blessings to you.

Don't bring up the subject to him that you accidentally found out, respect his privacy, give him some space, pray for him, and lead by example. There is nothing much you can do except to talk to him on the subject in a very causal sort of way, don't breach his trust and don't get labeled as the moral police. No matter how good your intentions are, they won't bring the outcome you desire.
It would be a blessing if they missed the cairns and got lost on the way back. Or if
the Thing on the ice got them tonight.

Re: Found a bad site on my brothers device
Hard to say what`s best really.
How good is your relationship? Do you talk to each other about things generally?
I think, if it was me, I would be honest and explain what i found and voice my concern about the site and why. It may just have been curiousity, he may have just been looking.
Let him know that you care, that you are there for him, that he can talk to you. stay calm, don`t accuse him of doing wrong, see if you can talk about his reasons.
Good luck!

Re: Found a bad site on my brothers device
Hana, usainbolt was talking about finding porn on his brothers Internet history. Easily missed, he was being discreet.
Ohh look it's a tricky situation. Both Storyteller and Neo give good advice, even though they offer different advice.
I have a son who is turning 14 soon so this is really relevant to me. Even though I have not found out that he has been looking at anything inappropriate, One time I walked into his bedroom and he slammed his laptop down and looked very embarrassed, so I think at least that time he was looking at something questionable. I chose the path of not interrogating him, but later that evening I did talk to him about the dangers and influence of the Internet, in relation to pornography.
As I have many times, I am open and honest with my kids.
So perhaps the best advice I can give is not to interrogate him, but talk to him. In a way that invites participation on his part, open, honest conversation with no condemning. As you said you have been there. it's so hard when we are dealing with either our kids or in your case a sibling when our best intention is for them to not make the same mistakes as us. But they will make mistakes, learn and grow.
He doesn't need to know you found out for you to have a discussion with him bro to bro about it. Tell him the lessons you have learnt, the dangers, why its not the right path. How you love him and don't want to see him make the same mistakes.
Then pray, leave it up to God and have trust.
