I received email via citizengo about Laura. I immediately replied back that I will not sign the petition and wrote a letter to Laura instead. Not sure whether citizengo will read that in time.

Please, pray for Laura.

Thank you.

Euthanasia law allows a 24 year old woman to get a lethal injection in Belgium?

My God! What kind of law is this? Human beings suck!

This is really tradegic. My heart goes out to her. Suicide takes the lives of far too many. They should be doing everything they can to emotionally, psychologically and medically support Laura without bringing euthanasia into the picture. When someone says they want to die due to emotional pain, we don't say 'yea, rightio', but we protect them by saying 'no'. Preserving life and honouring this young girl by fighting for her, even when she thinks she has no fight left.

Oh God love her, the poor soul.

Depression is truly awful. The desperation she feels is real, my heart goes out to her.

It breaks my heart that anyone feels that bad, that desperate, that lonely that desth seems preferable.

I will pray for Laura. We should also pray for the leaders of Belgium and all other countries that allow euthanasia that they will change their laws.
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
