That aside, what I like to point out to some skeptics that have issues with the virgin birth is that, as of right now and for some time, Science has enabled a virgin to become pregnant.

So,

You're saying that the virgin birth of Christ isn't a miracle? It seems to me, that if science can show how something can happen, then by definition, it's not a miracle, right?

You're not saying that conception by the HS is backed by science?

Of course it was a miracle.
Just because science can reproduce an event using a different method, doesn't mean that the event done the original way is not a miracle.
My point is that the skeptic can't disbelief this particular event because nature shows that it doesn't happen.

It may have taken almost 2000 years but science can now do what only the HS could have done in regards to a virgin birth.

There are skeptics of different types and some are of the type that disbelief things because they simply can't happen BUT that is quite simply short-sighted and naive.
To think that all we know NOW is ALL there IS to know is, well, just plain wrong.

And let's not forget the many prophecies predicting Jesus, and that the virgin birth of Jesus was foretold long before His birth into the world (meaning, the Virgin birth of Jesus, the prophecies foretelling Him, make His story totally unique:

The prophet Isaiah declared: "“Listen now, O house of David!": "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel. 15 He will eat curds and honey at the time He knows enough to refuse evil and choose good." (Isaiah 7:14)

Matthew 1:22-23 confirms the intent of the Isaiah passage.

Micah 5:2 predicted the place.

One other possibility with the snake in the article. Just because this snake has been in CAPTIVITY without any potential mate, it doesn't mean that the snake, prior to it's captivity, didn't mate. Could perhaps the snake have some ability to store sperm from a pre-captivity mating? I wonder. While that seems impossible, so does the snake's virgin birth. So if one thing is possible...

In theory, anything that doesn't SEEM possible is impossible.
I am sure that for ages flying was viewed as impossible, until someone did it.
Space flight was impossible until someone did t.
In nature, when something is spoken as impossible it means that given the nature of of something is (A) then anything contrary to that nature is impossible, UNTIL it happens and THEN it is possible.
