Rick will have a field day with this BUT...

Has anyone noticed similiarites with david and cinderella?
So the kings servants turn up at cindys house and look for a foot that will fit a shoe so the person will become royalty.

Ugly sisters feet dont fit the shoe.... 'Is there anyone else?' yes, a servant girl, and the kings.servants wants to see if it fits her. The shoe fits and she becomes royalty...

The kings (God) servant turns up at davids house...looking to make someone royalty...nope...none of the brothers 'fit'

'is there anyone else?' and then theres a small lad thats not there, he comes in and the kings servant wants to try see if he 'fits', he 'fits'...he becomes royalty....

Both david and cindy looked like the least obvious choices. Almost looked over. But it is them that become royalty..not the more likely ones. Isnt that part of the romance? The least likely being chosen for something far bigger than their lowly status? To become royalty?

And they all lived happily ever after
Just took david a little longer to get there ;)

Love song for a Saviour - Jars of Clay

'.....Sitting silent wearing Sunday best
The sermon echoes through the walls
A great salvation through it calls to the people
who stare into nowhere, and can't feel the chains on their souls

He's more than the laughter or the stars in the heavens
As close a heartbeat or a song on our lips
Someday we'll trust Him and learn how to see Him
Someday He'll call us and we will come running
and fall in His arms and the tears will fall down and we'll pray,

"I want to fall in love with You"

It seems too easy to call you "Savior",
Not close enough to call you "God"
So as I sit and think of words I can mention
to show my devotion

"I want to fall in love with You"

"my heart beats for You"
