Christianity was never meant to be some 'exclusive club'

Oh, Christianity IS exclusive, alright - just not in the ways that so many unBiblically assert it to be. It is exclusive to ONLY those who have faith in Christ. PERIOD! And that's MORE exclusive and important than anything else. Of course, God invites EVERYONE into HIS exclusive club, with most declining - even denying - such an invitation as relevant - or that it and He even exist.

Their is a HUGE difference between the narrow path and an 'exclusive club' mentality

I fear many atheists see us as having an 'exlusive club' mentality...

Look at jesus..he hung and ate with sinners..

'HEY, jesus...get back to the club' the religious people would yell...
'Get those darn kids outta here, jesus is busy and they dont belong in the club'
'Hey, whats this woman thinks shes doing kissing his feet and crying on them...breaking
Perfume? For crying out loud, how we gonna pay for the upkeep of the club now?' :econfused:

Maybe storyteller would like that. She's Catholic.

I'll play mediator, I think I'm qualified.
Let us proclaim the mystery of our faith: Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.

Lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.:8

... just trying to figure it all out ...

I'll play mediator, I think I'm <emminantly> :good: qualified.
