Sorry, I have no trouble sleeping.

Some say, being able to sleep is a sign of a clear conscience. In my case, it's not so much a clear conscience, but a horrible memory.

Unless something is bothering me (which is rare), I'm totally zonked in about two minutes. But I'm a night owl and almost never go to be before midnight - or until getting sleepy.

But if you do have trouble sleeping, I would HIGHLY recommend taking 25 mg. of Benadryl (an anti-histamine) - capsules work faster. It is benign, non-addictive, works fantastic! One 25 mg. will always work. Two, and I sleep better than some in cemetaries.

Whenever my little one can`t sleep I sing to her. She is the only person I will sing for (trust me, that`s a good thing!) and we still love it.

Got me thinking though, the things we sing to ur kids. Like Rock a Bye Baby. I mean, really?

Rock a bye baby
On the treetop
When the wind blows
The cradle will rock
And when the bough breaks
The cradle will fall
And down will come baby
Cradle and all.

Sweet dreams

Yeah, because pills are the best solution. Something is wrong? Np, fill yourself with pills!

Benadryl is an anti histamine used for allergies, insect bites and hayfever. There can be some side effects, the most common drowsiness. It can be bought over the counter and is non addictive.
It's safe to use in pregnancy.
I don't really see it as filling yourself with pills. More as the ocassional aid to sleep.

It may not be addictive bio-chemically but any sleeping aid has the potential for abuse if long-term dependency becomes an issue. Stick with a glass of warm milk.

With a tot of brandy

Seriously though. Yes, I agree. But even so, now and then won't hurt.

A bag of lavender under your pillow can help. And if not, it smells great.
