My daughter . . .
. . . just lost her first tooth. She is very excited.
That is all!
That is all!
And that, brothers and sisters, is the kind of foolishness you get people who insist on denying biblical theism. A good illustration of any as the length people will go to avoid acknowledging basic truths.Proinsias wrote:I don't think you are hearing me. Preference for ice cream is a moral issue

Yes Jac. Nowadays it's $25 per tooth. Don't be a miser when it comes to playing tooth fairy.Mallz wrote:

I personally do not like this tooth fairy business - it's just another encouragement of selling of "body parts for money!" A bad precedent to start!

Meh, we've had bad precedents for a long time . . .
So, yeah, I think the problem goes way back.

Jac,
I disagree about Reagan being a bad president. But if you're going to put him on the list, surely you can't forget his predecessor. Possibly the worst president evarrrr!

Re: My daughter . . .
My memory only goes back to Reagan. I'm a young buck.
And I know conservatives and Republicans think Reagan was a great POTUS. My dad thinks that he taught Jesus how to walk on water. I'm not terribly impressed with the direction he took the country. *shrug*
fakeedit: but I do toe a pretty typical conservative line in asserting that Jimmy Carter was the worst president in modern history.

I'm certainly no Reagan rumpswab, but I definitely wouldn't put him on the "Bad Presidents" list.Jac3510 wrote:My memory only goes back to Reagan. I'm a young buck.

Next to teaching Jesus to walk on water, he single-handedly brought down both the Soviet Union and the Berlin Wall.

Re: My daughter . . .
But then how am I supposed to maintain my air of intellectual and political superiority (and all around snobbery) if I acknowledge that somebody actually did something right? I mean, what's a critic who doesn't criticize?RickD wrote:I'm certainly no Reagan rumpswab, but I definitely wouldn't put him on the "Bad Presidents" list.
See, this is where I criticize you Reagan-worshipers . . . no need for exaggeration! He's not God after all. He did not take down the Soviet Union and the Berlin Wall singlehandedly. He did it with two hands, while wearing this suit:Next to teaching Jesus to walk on water, he single-handedly brought down both the Soviet Union and the Berlin Wall.
How can you not love that Republican red?!? But in any case, please, a little honesty, okay?

Micah, almost 7 has recently lost his first two teeth. A bottom and top one...
He looks like the cutest thing.. A little lisp and a huge gappy smile.
He's a rich little dude...
And his other top tooth is wriggly now.

With inflation, the tooth fairy has to pay out $10 per tooth. It ain't cheap anymore.Nessa wrote:Micah, almost 7 has recently lost his first two teeth. A bottom and top one...
